Drum Clamps
Drum Clamp - Forklifts are really meant to move, lift and store products placed on pallets. For companies which utilize drums, they usually require an attachment in order to handle storing, lifting and moving them. There are some different attachments that a company could use for all your drum lifting, moving, and storing requirements. These attachments are specially designed to handle drum containers - therefore there is no chance of damage to the product or drum container whenever they are stored, moved or lifted.
Drum Positioner And Grab
The drum positioner can be utilized to load and unload drums off of racks, drum stands and vehicles. These are presented in three or four tine models. This particular attachment is completely mechanical, therefore enabling the operator to be able to operate all from the comfort of the lift truck seat. Able to move steel, large and extra large plastic drums, its capacity is 210 liters. This particular accessory is meant for drum pyramid stacking.

The Rotator
The drum rotator is one more forklift attachment that mounts onto the forks themselves. Their objective is to lift the drum and rotate it upside down. The drum is clasped into the drum rotator using a clamp that fits around the center of the drum. The rotation is done by either a continuous loop chain or a crank handle. The crank handle is used for operations that occur below shoulder level. For operations that should happen higher than shoulder level, the continuous circle chain will be utilized.
Drum tines are straightforward fork mounted attachment which can be used for stacking and unstacking 210-liter metal drums. Stacking involves nothing intricate, only simple horizontal placement of the drums. The carriage-mounted attachments decrease the load center of the drums.
Automatic Tongs
Drum tongs are available in automatic and semi-automatic models. They are used in the tight head or open topped steel drum styles. The drum tongs can be connected in a few ways to the lift truck. One method is to attach them underneath a fork-mounted hook. One more way is to connect them to a carriage mounted jib or a fork-mounted jib. Both the semi automatic and the automatic have a drum capacity of 210 liters. With the automatic, there is no need for the one operating it to ever leave the seat of the lift truck.
Rim Grip Handler
The Rip Grip Drum Handler is the best option for forklift accessories, whenever there is a need to store drums with inadequate area obtainable. This particular accessory could be used on either 120L and 210L drums. The Rim Grip Handler functions by using steel jaws so as to hold the edge of the drum. It lifts the drum and puts it down without requiring any space between all the drums. The standard model in the trade is a zinc-plated handler, though, this accessory is obtainable in stainless steel for the food and drink industry.
